The sire

Hercules stands at stud in Denmark and is a very close maternal relative to the accomplished FEI dressage stallion Hertug (hellas by Donauwind is Hertug's dam), as well as the French top dressage horse Roi de Coeur, who represented France at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen 2006. From the same comes the 2006 stallion candidate 38 Hobart. Hercules sire Chopstick is also sire of the approved Falkensee, who was exported to New Zealand after his approval in Neumünster and became a most influential sire. He recently relocated to Australia. The TB stallion Deadly Nightshade xx also produced the Trakehner stallion Schneekönig, who is now in the United States.

The dam

Amalia's sire Sponeck had an outstanding 100 day test with an overall score of over 148 points and was soon aftder exported to Denmark, where he stood at stud. Today, he is stationed in Great Britain. His dam Scala Milano also produced the approved Steinburg (by Kennedy), a FEI level stallion now stationed in the United States and the gelding Scillano (by Heling), a successful M-level dressage horse in Germany. The direct dam line also produced the stallions Adenauer (full brother to the second dam Allenburg, FEI level dressage horse in France, for more information please visit Adenauer), Amagun, Unikum, and Amethyst (by Kampfgeist, not the ATA approved). Unikum was one of the most influential improvement sires in the Swedish breed after he was the champion in Neumünster and sold to Flying National Stud.
