The sire
Manrico is a dressage stallion successful up to Inter I level in Germany. He was approved based on his performance test at the Trakehner Spring Approvals in Alsfeld and is stationed at Majenfelderhof in Germany. His sire Gipsy King is one of the breed's best sport horse sires. His offspring excel in dressage at Grand Prix level and also jump well above average in competiton. Gipsy King is a full brother to the dam of Birkhof's Grafenstolz TSF and also sired the excellent premium stallion United Kingdom (out of a full TB mare). He is one of the last active stallions from the great Abglanz-line in the Trakehner breed. The dam Marcia II also produced the outstanding stallion Märchenprinz (by Equador xx) and the second dam Maike is dam of the approved stallions Maifeuer (by Vincent) and Morgenstrahl (by Tannenberg *E*; both ATA).
The dam
Unchallenged and charismatic champion mare of the 2006 central mare inspection in Schleswig-Holstein. Her impressive frame and her powerful movement hold great promise for a future in breeding or competition. Just as her dam, Charisma has completed a very good mare performace test. She has not been bred due to her training under saddle. Interesting combination of the half TB stallions Donaumonarch and Marlon based on a branch of the Corry family bred and maintained by the Harder family. Dam sire Donaumonarch was an international show jumper under Burghard Wahler and produced the approved Tycoon for the German Trakehner breed (today stationed in UK). Tycoon was the dam sire of the 2004 champion and reserve champion in Neumünster, a feat no other stallion has ever achieved. the second sire Marlon was a full brother to Mahagoni, and the third sire Ginster made a name for himself as a good broodmare producer. One of his best daughters was the elite mare Herzchen, who founded a magnificent familyof approved stallions and competition horses.
