The sire
Couleur-Fürst was an advanced level show jumper, one of several sired by the TB stallion Sir Shostakovich xx, who also produced trhe jumpers Donaumonarch and Chateauneuf for the breed, as well as the top sire Sir Chamberlain. Couleur-Fürst's dam is a legendary mare in Germany. She is also dam of the approved Trakehner show jumper Caanitz and comes from very close relation to Couracius (res champion NMS 2003), and Carel Deak. Her sire Kassiber was bred at Gestüt Hämelschenburg and exported to Australia, where he won the National Eventing Championships. The greater mare family traces back to Corrida from the main stud Trakehnen.
The dam
Very athletic and well-developed top prospect with a high-quality performance pedigree. Her typical Trakehner beauty and her cadenced movements indicate a very promising future. State premium and premium mare Elita scored very high on her movements and has been awarded a 1b-prize in the family class at the 1998 national mare show of German riding horse breeds in Warendorf. The approved stallions Excalibur, Emerson, as well as Egmont (USA) and Eisenerz (Brazil) belong to the dynasty of elite mare Etana. This is also the line of the stamping sire Enrico Caruso *Pg*E*.
