The sire
Le Rouge was the celebrated champion stallion in Neumünster in 2004 and this is his first foal crop. Le Rouge won the Trakehner Championship in Hanover as a 3 and 4 year old and represented the breed at the Bundeschampionat. the impressive chestnut stallion, whose full brother is in the 2006 stallion prospect lineup in Neumünster (51 Limoges), is stationed at LKlosterhof Medingen and combines an interesting collection of exceptional sport horse producers in his pedigree: EH Arogno, EH Sokrates, Sir Shostakovich xx (via Donaumonarch) and EH Michelangelo, all on the basis of the Luna mare family that also produced, among others, the ATA's two-time Olympic competitor Larissa *Pg*.
The dam
A colt to fall in love with. An elegant and stylish youngster with great potential and dancing movements. Ira XIII is a three quarter sister to Insterburg TSF, the exceptional dressage stallion. Dressage blood all over, and the dam line also boasts the approved stallions I-Punkt and Illux, as well as the S-level dressage horse Idol. Second dam sire EH Leonardo was one of the breed's most versatile and proven sport horse sires with offspring winning FEI levels in show jumping (Kairos TSF) and dressage (Herzberg).
