Mare family of T20F Alwina (Hauptgestüt Trakehnen)

The sire

Cadeau has the most sons of any stallion in Neumünster this year. A trend that shows how very populat Hörstein's bay charmer is. The stallion was approved in 2001 as the second reserve champion and had an outstanding first breeding season. He won the rideability index of his 70 day test (over 138 points) and finished 4th overall. His seasons as a 4 and 5 year old were marked my several wins at material level, as well as 1st and 2nd level. Cadeau won the Trakehner Championship in Bonn, and would have qualified for the Bundeschampionat if his Danish passport had not cut those ambitions short. Cadeau is a Trakehner Verband elite prospect, even though sadly, he no longer performs due to the high demand in the breeding shed. Nice for his owners, no doubt, but troublesome for the breed as this promising stallion should certainly leave his mark in the dressage ring too. His sire Silvermoon recently came back into the spotlight with the international Grand Prix shooting star Matine, his Danish bred daughter who won individual bronze and silver at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany, 2006. He is a maternal half sibling to the approved Schampus. Cadeau is a member of the Corry family that originates with one of Trakehnen's best mares, Corrida. This family also produced, among others, EH Consul, Connery, Couleur-Fürst, Carel Deak, Almox Prints J, Cornus, Checkpoint and Chardonnay.

The dam

Alanis was on the final ring of premium foals at the Hörstein foal championship. Her beauty and her natural animation placed her among the best in keen competition. Her dam Arielle II already produced the exceptional performance mare Ascara, who won the Projekt Numri performance test with the highest scores to this day and presented a stunning Caruso Nero colt this year herself. This very interesting mare family also produced the outstanding performance horse sires Arthus, Amarant, Arc de Triomphe, Alaskatraum, and Axis, as well as the exceptional mover and Inter I winner Artistic-Rock.
