Mare family of O41A Kavallerie (v. d. Leyen-Hasselpusch)

The sire

Cadeau has the most sons of any stallion in Neumünster this year. A trend that shows how very populat Hörstein's bay charmer is. The stallion was approved in 2001 as the second reserve champion and had an outstanding first breeding season. He won the rideability index of his 70 day test (over 138 points) and finished 4th overall. His seasons as a 4 and 5 year old were marked my several wins at material level, as well as 1st and 2nd level. Cadeau won the Trakehner Championship in Bonn, and would have qualified for the Bundeschampionat if his Danish passport had not cut those ambitions short. Cadeau is a Trakehner Verband elite prospect, even though sadly, he no longer performs due to the high demand in the breeding shed. nice for his owners, no doubt, but troublesome for the breed as this promising stallion should certainly leave his mark in the dressage ring too. His sire Silvermoon recently came back into the spotlight with the international Grand Prix shooting star Matine, his Danish bred daughter who won individual bronze and silver at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany, 2006. He is a maternal half sibling to the approved Schampus. Cadeau is a member of the Corry family that originates with one of Trakehnen's best mares, Corrida. This family also produced, among others, EH Consul, Connery, Couleur-Fürst, Carel Deak, Almox Prints J, Cornus, Checkpoint and Chardonnay.

The dam

Dam Kashooga already produced the premium mare Kashindra. Her sire Matador left a strong mark on the breed through a number of exceptional daughters as well as several good sons, of which EH Tipperary is the most iportant and successful. Among Matador's many daughters, the elite mare Miami (dam of EH Michelangelo and EH Monteverdi TSF), Helena (dam of EH Hohenstein) and the ATA's Exceptional mare Havanna stand out. The second dam sire Perlenglanz had very limited opportunities in the breed. He will always be remembered for the top show jumper mare Indian Lady, who is the most successful Trakehner mare in jumping and placed and won in over 100 S-level shows! The dam line of Kavallerie is very small, but known for the former Moritzburg State Stud stallion Khalif, as well as the S-level dressage horses Kormoran and Kampari.
