The sire
Tanzmeister II is the full brother to Tanzmeister I (Gestüt Sommerlade) and was a Medingen Elite Auction highlight. He has successfully been competed up to M level in dressage and is now a full time performance horse. His sire Caprimond is one of the stamping sires of our time, whose influence can be felt not only in the Trakehner breed, but also in Hanover and Oldenburg, both in Europe and North America. Through his son EH Hohenstein, he founded a dynasty of successful dressage horses. Dam Traumweise produced daughters of great quality, who were auctioned in Medingen or stood in front at central mare inspections. Her sire EH Tenor, champion in Neumünster, was a full brother to EH Tivano, the dam sire of the 2005 champion stallion Herzensdieb. This mare family also produced the former Celle State Stud stallion Trautmann.
The dam
Beautiful 5-year-old mare characterised by great overall quality and a wonderful conformation. Her credentials include the state premium and the premium title and she has been successfully performance tested as well. Her dam is the unforgotten Lana Luna, top-selling mare of the auction in 1994 (NMS ‘94/111), who was reserve champion of the mare inspection in Bavaria and placed 2nd in her class at the State mare show of Bavaria the same year. The 2nd dam Limona has also produced Hörstein stud’s sire Lafayette and the greater family of Lorelei/Libelle also stands for the younger jumpers Lossow and Lessen as well as the proven Linne.
The expected foal by Insterburg TSF will carry some of the most interesting dressage blood and a good dose of much needed TB blood, which too, was proven in the dressage ring.
