The sire

Pret a Porter was a premium stallion in Neumünster and sold later at the Klosterhof Medingen Elite Auction for over 300,000DM. Sadly, he only lived for 4 years and had to be put down due to an injury. He is a son of the FEI dressage stallion Ivernel (now in the UK), who also produced the approved Schönbrunn and the exhiting younger premium Kasimir. Pret a Porter is the sire of the 2004 champion Le Rouge, and comes from a very good branch of the big Peraea mare family that also produced, among many others, the major sport horse sire Pregel. Dam sire EH Sokrates is the only Trakehner elite stallion in South America (Brazil), and prior ot his sale, was the breed's best sport horse sire based on the FN breed index he earned due to his get competing in dressage and show jumping. Sokrates had several approved sons, of which the bay S-successful Abisko is still active in Germany.

The dam

Dam Lantana was the highest priced 2 year old filly ever sold in Neumünster (110,000DM), and rewarded the expense by winning her inspection, other major titles at big state shows, and producing the 2004 champion stallion Le Rouge, a full brother to Limoges. The second dam Louisiana is also dam of the premium mare Louise (by Suchard) and the dressage mare Lady Lou (by EH Tenor). The Luna VI family is a branch of the Amsel AA family in the Trakehner breed that was founded by the mare Amsel, a full sister to the impeccable Burnus AAH. This is also the line of the elite stallion Louidor as well as the two times Olympic eventer Larissa *Pg*.
