Mare family of T1C Polarfahrt (Hauptgestüt Trakehnen)

The sire

K2 was the undisputed champion stallion in Neumünster in 2001. K2 sold at auction for 350.000DM to the pure Oldenburg stud farm Gestüt Sprehe and is a full brother to Key West. The brothers combine two impeccable mares in his pedigree: the National champions Schwalbenburg (dam of 4 approved stallions) and Kalinka. A combination of the Schwalbe and Kassette lines in one stallion. Sire Stradivari had been promoted as a show jumper with excellent results and even though stationed at a remonte spot in the South of Germany, had gotten a name for producing excellent performance horses, both in eventing and show jumping at National level. Upan la Jarthe AA was, for many years, one of the leading jumper sires in the Westfalian breed and also sired the approved FEI dressage stallion Kadre Noir (dam by Ibikus, also from the Kassette line).

The dam

Perle XXVIII is also dam of the inspection champion Perlenglanz II, one of the highest scoring mares ever. Dam sire EH Hohenstein was a premium stallion of his approval in 1993, winner of the rideability part of his 100 day test in Adelheitsdorf, Bundeschampionat qualifier and successful S level dressage horse. EH Hohenstein's most noteworthy sons include the international Grand Prix stallion EH Münchhausen TSF, the bronze medalist at the FEI World Championships for young dressage horses, Insterburg TSF, the premium stallion Tambour and the Hanoverian champion stallion His Highness. The dam line in this branch of the big Polarfahrt family also produced the approved Inter I stallion Polarjäger (by Shannon) and the elite mare Polarkönigin (by Mahagoni).
