The sire
Farinelli was the champion in Neumünster in 1996 and had a successful dressage career all the way to S level. His full brother Freudenfest was approved and announced as champion in 1999, and has been a popular stallion for the breed. Farinelli's sire Tolstoi wasd a premium stallion in Neumünster and also produced the approved Saint Tropez (STate Stud Warendorf), Davidoff Classic and Dvorak. His dam Tugend III produced the international show jumper Trenk and Tiflis, as well as the mares Turandot (dam of Turnus) and Titania (dam of Tycoon (UK)), which makes her one of the breed's most successful mares. Dam sire Amadeus left over 50 registered daughters as well as the approved Messalla. The lines goes back directly to the influential Gabriel-daughter Flocke, dam of the full brothers Flaneur and Mahdi. The line also produced Feingeist (now in Canada).
The dam
Rawenna is a full sister to the approved 100 day test winner Rastenberg and the M-level dressage mare Rhamina S. This is also the family of the elite mare Romanze XIII, who was awarded the elite title after her impressive FEI level show jumper career. Dam sire EH Van Deyk has several approved sons in the breed and has been back in the spotlight after his grand son Birkhof's Grafenstolz TSF qualified for all three disciplines at the Bundeschampionagt in 2004 (first horde ever, all breeds), then won the eventing part with over 90%, and in the same year, became the FEI's Young Horse World Champion in Lion d'Angers/France with rider Micheal Jung. Only one year later, Van Deyk's son Kaiserkult TSF won the Bundeschampionat of the 6 year old dressage horse, only to be followed by his full brother Kaiserdom TSF a year later (again a novum, this was never achieved before). The second dam sire Coktail was a Trakehner export to Australia, and sired the dams of Peron TSF and Solero TSF as well as the ATA's important Martini *Pg*E*.
