Mare family of O35A1a Schwarze Schwalbe (Gestüt Webelsgrund)

The sire

King Arthur was born in 1998 and two years later left the annual stallion approvals of the Trakehner Verband in Germany as the grand champion of the crowd. He was also the approval champion of the Danish Warmblood Society in 2003. King Arthur is fully approved in Hanover, Oldenburg, Denmark and Sweden and was the reserve champion of his stallion performance test in Neustadt/Dosse. King Arthur is a highly versatile stallion, but his owners promote him in dressage, so his jumping talent is a bit unnoticed. The stallion had his first noteworthy season in 2004, where he placed in the top ten at both the FEI Young Horse World Championships in Verden as well as the Bundeschampionship in Warendorf. King Arthur's mare family is that of O23A2 Kabinda, a line that has also produced the very popular Karwendelstein. This branch traces back to the big Dohna'sche K-family, one of the breed's most successful lines in terms of producing high quality breeding stock as well as exceptional competition horses.

The dam

In terms of type, frame, and movement, this is a top prospect for breeding and competition.... Schöne Zeit placed at regional mare shows, the 2nd dam Schöner Morgen won the State mare show of Bavaria and achieved 1st prizes at national mare shows. The third dam Schöner Tag founded a dynasty of successful performance horses: her son Schalk was a CCI*** eventer, her daughter Schöne Stunde won her MPT and produced the approved Shooting Star, he son Showtime is a current S-level winner with Canadian Olympic rider Leonie Bramall, and his full sister PS Schöne Symphonie is a top brood mare in North America. Schöner Tag is also dam of the S-level dressage gelding Scheward. She is a full sister to the reserve champion Shannon and belongs to the same mare family as Schwadroneur, Showmaster, Stradivari, Shavalou, Sans Souci, Santiago, Siegneur, and many others.
