Mare family of O170A1 Sternblume

The sire

Kaiser Wilhelm was a premium stallion in Neumünster and currently shows successfully at Inter I across Europe. His sire EH Lehndorffs has long been known as the producer of equally rideable and versatile offspring, and has sirred the approved Domhart and the premium Blitz & Donner. He is especially important as a brood mare producer of high quality. Lehndorff's sire Marduc was one of the breed's best dressage producers, and his sons EH Anduc, EH Herzzauber, and Induc carry that talent as well. Lehndorffs however comes a lot more after his maternal sire, the impressive Lucado, a son of Donauwind. The dam Kandida earned her elite status due to several offspring, including Kaiser Wilhelm's full sister Kandida, not only an in hand champion mare, but successful in dressage up to S levels!

The dam

Samarkant is a Danish Trakehner mare and one of the many Schwadroneur daughters in Denmark. Schwadroneur was the most important dressage sire in Denmark in the last decade, not only in the Trakehner breed, but also in the Danish warmblood breed, which is documented by several dressage horses at the highest international levels. Schwadroneur's dam Schwalbenburg also produced the approved stallions Showmaster (Grand Prix dressage), Sans Souci and Stradivari (M level show jumper). The maternal pedigree carries some remarkable stallions that were predominantly used in Denmark, but would have been a great addition in mainland Germany as well. Märchenprinz, whose sire Ecuador xx was also successful in the Hanoverian breed, was a maternal half brother to the outstanding FEI dressage stallion Manrico and left e.g. Webelsgrund's foundation mare High Socks (dam of the CCI** eventer and approved stallion Hölderlin). The pedigree finds more valuable TB influence in Deadly Nightshade xx, sire of the Trakehner stallions Chopstick and Schneekönig (ATA). The mare family of Sternblume, which is very popular in Denmark, belongs to the greater Schwinderlin family. This particular branch also produced the FEI dressage stallion Schiffon (by EH Anduc), who was sold to the United States in the summer of 2006.
