Mare family of T8A Suska (Hauptgestüt Trakehnen)

The sire

Hibiskus was the reserve champion of the approvals in 2002 and won the Trakehner Riding Horse Championat. He also qualified for the Bundeschampionat in the riding horse divisions. He has won and placed at 3rd level in dressage. This is his first foal crop in Neumünster. Hibiskus' sire EH Latimer is a successful FEI level dressage horse with Theresa Wahler all over Europe and sired a number of approved stallions (Karolinger I+II, Immenhof, Finckenstein and Illux, as well as several Hanoverians). Latimer's daughters belong to the highest scoring mares in the Verband stud books. He is a 3/4 brother to the excellent Liebestraum. Hibskus dam comes from a very good mare line that was founded by the chestnut elite mare Herzchen by Ginster. This direct family includes the Stallion of the Year EH Herzruf, the reserve champion Hirtenruf, the S level show jumper and approved Heinrich der Löwe, the FEI dressage stallion Heinrich der Welfe and the last "best jumper" in Neumünster, Hirtentanz.

The dam

The dam Sinfonie II won a Ia prize as a 3 year old at the Bavarian State Mare Show in 2001. Her sire, the outstanding EH Charly Chaplin, is the breed's best producer of upper level dressage horses (statistics based on mares bred vs. competition horses at S level and higher). Charly Chaplin himself won and placed in over 100 S level competitions in Germany and was retired as a 19 year old in impeccable shape. Since his dam is a grand daughter of the Celle State Stud stallion Neuqen xx, this pedigree shows intgeresting linebreeding to this influential Irish TB stallion. Second dam sire Karnelo comes from the Kassette family and was leased to Hungaria. The dam line of Suska also produced the premium stallion Schampus and the FEI level dressage stallion Silvermoon, whose daughter Matine (Danish Warmblood) left a big mark at the most recent World Championships in Dressage.
