The sire

Exclusiv was the Westfalian Riding Horse Champion as a three year old and has been stationed at Gestüt Hämelschenburg ever since. This substantial, yet elegant stallion is a dominant movement producer int eh breed and has left a number of exceptional daughters and sport horses, among them eventer at the Bundeschampionat and the FEI dressage stallion Kapriolan F, a full brother to the 2006 stallion candidate 22 Kastelango. Exclusiv's sire Starway was a successful young eventer under Ingrid Klimke, for the Hörstein stud (breeder of Starway), until he shattered a knee in a training accident and had to be retired at age 6 - after winning the Robert Vietor Event Cup in Germany, one of the country's most prestigious titles. A half TB himself, he manages to sire outstanding movers and jumpers alike. Starway is also the sire of the outstanding 70 day test winner and approved Pepper & Salt.
