This colt was bred by Georg Sieverding from Emstek in Germany and presented for approval by Blue Hors Aps from Denmark. His sire Hotline was Champion of the Hanoverian approvals in 2005 and sold for the record breaking price of 800,000 Euro to Paul Schockemöhle and the Danish Blue Hors Stud in partnership. He began his breeding career with Paul Schockemöhle and won his 70 day test in Schlieckau. Since then, Hotline has progessed nicely under saddle and has been very high in demand as a breeding stallion worldwide. His sire E.H. Hofrat was the Reserve Champion of the Trakehner Approvals in 2000 and was named "elite" in Neumünster 2008. He is a successful S level dressage stallion in Germany and is emerging as a sire of outstanding dressage horses. He is in the Top 1% of the best German dressage sires (all breeds) and is the full brother to the 2002 Reserve Champion and S level dressage winner, Hoftänzer. Hofrat's sire E.H. Gribaldi is a WBFSH Top Ten dressage sire with numerous offspring competing at international levels, among them the stunning Moorland's Totilas. Kostolany was named "Stallion of the Year 2009" in the Trakehner breed in Germany, and is known as an outstanding sport horse producer, which also includes excellent show jumpers.

Through the dam Merethe, this young colt carries more Trakehner blood. Dam sire Florestan, one of the all time great sires in the Rhineland and Westfalian breeds, has numerous approved sons and many sport horses, predominantly in dressage, to his name. Florestan's dam Raute carried Trakehner blood on both sides of her pedigree. Her sire Rheingold was out of the part Trakehner mare Piroschka by Abendregen/Trak. and came from the famous Radetzky-line on top. Radetzky's dam sire was the East Prussian Oxyd. Raute's dam Gode, a model mare of her time, was by the Trakehner Garamond (by Gabriel - Pindar xx), who was known as an underutilized, yet very good sire. Video of this colt is available here.

Two other Hotline sons were approved as well: No. 12 out of a dam by Sandro Hit - De Niro - Rubinstein I and No. 13 out of a dam by Donnerhall - Pik Bube I - Duellschütz. Both did not receive premiums and are pictured below:

The dam of No. 30 is an outstanding Trakehner mare by the late dressage sire E.H. Banditentraum. Kira K, now elite due to her performance record under saddle and her record as a producer, won at Inter I level in dressage. She was trained originally by Ingrid Klimke, who competed her at S level, and then taken to PSG and Inter I success by Nicole Uphoff. This particular mare family has a long list of achievements in both sport and breeding, and here are just some examples from the direct maternal relation: Kira K is also dam of Pr.St. Koko (by Kostolany), a young mare owned by Ingrid Klimke, winner of her inspection and performanc etest. 2nd dam Kanessa is dam of the two M level show jumpers Kasparow (by Kostolany) and Kaba (by Baron), as well as the St.Pr.,Pr.+El.St. Kandra (by Kostolany), who in turn produced the CIC** eventer and Prix St. Georg dressage competitor E.H. Kasparow (by E.H. Sixtus, approved, sire of several approved stallions and competition horses), the S level dressage gelding Kaspaar (by E.H. Münchhausen TSF), the S level dressage mare Karisma V (by Windfall *Pg*), as well as St.Pr.+Pr.St. Kasixta (by E.H. Sixtus) and St.Pr.,Pr.+El.St. Keep Cool (by E.H. Sixtus), dam of the premium stallion Kronprinz (by E.H. Hohenstein) and two Verband premium mares and performance test winners. 2nd dam Kanconette produced St.Pr.St. Kastella III (by Inschallah AA), M level dressage, and St.Pr.Pr.St. Kandida IV (by E.H. Herzruf), who are the replacement mares of her famous dam at the Berge Stud in Germany now. Kanconette is furthermore the dam of Koriander and Kandiman (both by E.H. Tenor), M level dressage, the gelding Kempinski (by Fahnenträger II), S level dressage and Kevin (by E.H. Herzruf), Grand Prix dressage. The mare family here (T7A1 Kassandra (Gestüt Webelsgrund)) is part of the big Kassette line that goes straight back to the original Trakehner mare Kassette by Harun al Raschid (Arabian), a rescue from the main stud Trakehnen during WWII. The line is one of the Trakehner breed's most important ones, and to highlight its impact on other warmblood breeds, here are a few of the stallions from this family that continue to influence warmblood breeding all over the world: Kostolany, Karon, Don Kennedy, K2. With regards to sport horses, this family produced e.g. Kunta Kinte TSF (CCI*** eventer), Wild Rose (by Weltmeyer, Grand Prix dressage), Kairos TSF (international show jumper).

This Lauries Crusador xx son, who was bred by Christel Bendien in Denmark and presented by Rasmussen Benge Holt, also from Denmark was the only Anglo colt up for approval in 2009, and passed. He carries a Danish Warmblood brand and comes from the now popular cross of a Trakehner dam line with this most successful TB stallion in modern warmblood breeding. Within the Trakehner breed, Lauries Crusador xx has produced the approved stallions Krokant (premium), Karamell, Immens and Osiander, all out of Trakehner mothers hailing from the very same stallion line as Illusion II - E.H. Arogno! 2nd dam sire Schwadroneur was an international competitor with Anne Gret Toernblad and is the sire of numerous international Grand Prix dressage horses as well as influential sires (e.g. Danish stallion of the year, Trakehner Hertug). With Donauwind in the falling dam line, this pedigree receives influence of one of the best sport horse sires ever. Among the many outstanding get of Donauwind, one will always stand out: the Olympic Champion and World Cup winner Abdullah *Pg*E* (show jumping). The mare family on the basis of this pedigree is the family of O15A Italia (Scharfetter - Kallwischken), that traces back to the mare Ita, a model mare in East Prussia prior to WWII. The foundation mare Italia was on the trek to West Germany and carried the Scharfetter family to safety. She was hit by flying pieces of shrapnell and ended up with an elephant's foot for the rest of her life, but was able to give rise to a most noteworthy family of performance horses. Her son Impuls was a stamping sire of the Trakehner breed after WWII and will always be consdiered one of the best stallions of his time, any breed. Through her Totilas-daughter Ideale, Italia established the branch of this Lauries Crusador xx colt, which also stands for the Trakehner champion stallion in Flagranti (by E.H. Buddenbrock; Inter I dressage, Top 1% of all dressage sires in Germany), In Vita (E.H. Buddenbrock; FEI World Championships Dressage), In Zukunft (E.H. Buddenbrock; 4th level dressage, USA), and Inspekteur (by Mahagoni, Grand Prix dressage): Other noteworthy horses from this family include the approved Ilmengrund (by Hartung; top show jumper sire in the breed), Inselmond (by E.H. Caprimond; S level dressage), Insmir (by Makuba xx; S level dressage), Indigo (by Donauwind *E*; M level show jumping), Indio (by Schwärmer; M level show jumping), Interpret (by Amagun; S level show jumping), Iokonda (by Anteil; M level show jumping), Remus (by E.H. Ravel; M level show jumping) and Irabell (by E.H. Ravel; S level driving).

This grey colt was bred by Heint Nölkenköner from Raddestorf and was presented by Rene Tebbel from Emsbüren. The Trakehner Erzsand was the Champion of the Neumünster approvals in 1967 and established himself as a top notch brood mare sire in the Trakehner breed. He was heavily influenced by a mix of old Trakehner blood and his Arabian heritage through his dam Ezsra, a grand daughter of the Arabian Adamas ox, who stood at stud in Trakehnen. Erzsand sired the approved Diamant, who stood in Austria for a while and was a very reliable dressage sire. His daughter Ballerina XXV has gained tremendous influence worldwide through her son E.H. Buddenbrock (by E.H. Sixtus). Erzsand's daughter Heimkehr III is dam of the ATA approved Happy Hour (4th level dressage) and the mare Hot Chocolate (S level dressage). Erzsand's daughter Herzröschen established a large family at Gestüt Panker, which produced e.g. E.H. Herzzauber (champion in Neumünster 1990, Prix St George dressage), and the 2005 Neumünster champion Herzensdieb (M level dressage, Bundeschampionat). The Erzsand daughter Kandice is dam of the Grand Prix gelding Kavalier (by Amatcho), and Karla III (by Erzsand) is the foundation mare of yet another outstanding dressage family in the Trakehner breed that is represented by St.Pr.,Pr.+E.St. Kandela (by E.H. Lehndorffs, S level dressage, dam of 2009 approved Kandelus), Kaiser Wilhelm TSF (by E.H. Lehndorffs, international Grand Prix dressage), and St.Pr.+Pr.St. Kaiserin (by E.H. Lehndorffs, dam of 2009 Trakehner champion Kentucky). Also, Walewska (by Erzsand) produced the approved Wakond (by E.H. Arogno), S level dressage.

The 2nd dam in this pedigree, Cinnta by Erzsand, is dam of the S level show jumper Cor de l'ame (by by Cordalme).
