State Mare Show Lower Saxony, July 25th 2009 in Hanover

Every seven years, the breeding districts of the Trakehner Verband in Germany host their State Mare Shows. During the International Bundesturnier 2009, the breeding district of Lower Saxony held its State Mare Show and welcomed a high quality band of Trakehner mares - the hopeful youngsters and the proven seniors! The show turned out to be two things in one: a positive confirmation for the usage of TB and Arabian blood in the Trakehner breed and a celebration for Gestüt Hämelschenburg and its many outstanding mares, but one in particular!
