The first foal by Terhi Stegar's Grand Prix dressage stallion Payano at this foal auction. Ambros was awarded a third place at the big Hämelschenburg Foal Championship this spring and he impresses with his lightness and his elegant manners. The dam of Payano, Pikee, is also dam of the Olympic eventer Peppermint III (Athens 2044, M. Cortesi for Switzerland). Dam line of the S dressage horses Acrobat and Arminius, the successful younger show jumper and approved stallion Alaskatraum, of the popular sire and riding horse champion Amadelio and the excellent riding horse sires Arthus, Arc de Triomphe, Axis TSF and Artistic-Rock. This is also the family of several international driving horses such as ES Arabica and Amabile.
