Hanoverian Elite Foal and Mare Auction Verden 2007

There is a very strong Trakehner background in many of the over 350 foals and mares at the two day elite auction marathon in Verden, August 18th and 19th 2007. Here we present some of the highlights from the online auction catalogue, along with short video clips courtesy of the Hanoverian Verband website.

Apart from the "usual" suspects Hohenstein, Caprimond and Consul, this year the auction parade includes interesting foals by the international Grand prix winner Solero TSF, the two debutants Herzensdieb and Kaiserkult TSF as well as the FEI stallion K2 and several foals by Hanover's famous half Trakehner stallions Hotline (by Hofrat/Trak), His Highness (by Hohenstein/Trak) and Hochadel (by Hohenstein/Trak) as well as former champion and now FEI dressage stallion Don Frederico (by Donnerhall - Consul/Trak). Due to space limitations, we will not list all of their offspring. Additionally, two foals are out of purebred Trakehner mares and in the group of elite mares, a Hochadel - Davignon I - Argument/Trak daughter offers bloodlines that Hanoverian breeders can build on.

No. 4 in the catalogue is the filly Kassandra by Kaiserkult TSF/Trak - Langata's Son - Pik Bube (VIDEO), followed by No. 15, the colt De Vino by Diamont Hit - Hohenstein/Trak - Rubinstein I.
