The sire
Faberger xx was one of 5 approved sons of the champion race horse sire Dashing Blade xx in the German warmblood breeds and stood at Gestüt Wiesenhof. He passed away after an accident earlier in 2008. Faberger xx was a close relative to the Dillenburg State Stud stallion Fragonard xx, and carried important TB genes especially through his dam and the falling mare family. He is a full brother to the approved Full House xx and displayed many of the much needed characteristics a modern breed would look for from a TB stallion, like great conformational harmony, a good neck and top line, and strong movement that he developed from an active hind end. His early death is a loss to the breed.
The dam
SPS+PS Moosblüte is a full sister to the influential international Grand Prix dressage stallion EH Münchhausen TSF, who was Champion in NMS in 1997 and has produced a number of outstanding daughters, approved sons and performance horses in various breeds in Europe. Münchhausen's oldest get compete at Inter I level in dressage. The second dam sire Königsstein was stationed in East Germany for quite some time and sired the versatile approved stallion Offenbach as well as the Austrian approval champion Orpheus. The stallion Arrak, a son of the great Ibikus, managed to sire performance horses at FEI levels in eventing, show jumping and dressage, including the Olympic dressage gelding Merlin TSF (C. Hatapla/Austria - Atlanta Olympics 1996). The smaller dam linie of Moosbeere also stands for the stallions Markant, Mauersee and Mandinka (ATA).
