The pedigree
Lavirco xx was born in 1993 at Gestüt Fährhof and became one of Germany's most successful race horses (GAG 101.5kg). Lavirco xx won over 750,000 Euro during his racing career. His breeding career began in Germany, but he left for France later in his life and became a top notch steeplechase sire there. Just like the international leading sire Monsun xx and the 1992 Derby winner Pik König xx, Lavirco xx came from the cross of the Tripe Crown Champion Königsstuhl xx and a Surumu-daughter. Lavirco’s dam La Virginia xx was a full sister to the very successful stallion Lomitas xx and the 2nd dam La Dorada xx was a maternal half sister to the famous brood mare Liranga xx. Among her get is the Derby winner lagunas xx and the equally successful Lirung xx. A very interesting line breeding component is added to this classic German pedigree through the connection of the outstanding mare Kaiserkrone xx, dam of Kronzeuge xx and 4th dam of Königsstuhl xx.
Because a number of Königsstuhl's TB sons and daughters produced good breeding stock for warmblood breeding, this bloodline is well represented today. E.g. the recently approved Albaran xx, Duke of Hearts xx, Allegrador xx, and older stallions like Helikon xx, Ostermond xx and Ridwan xx, as well as Tipsy's Pet xx, have found their way into warmblood breeds. Helikon xx for example is the sire of the **** Trakehner eventer Seacookie TSF, and the Königsstuhl-daughter Ninotschka produced the 1.60m show jumper Akira (by Ars Vivendi).
Dam sire Wise Money xx comes from the highly regarded Nearco xx stallion line (free of Norther Dancer xx blood). His grand son Seratino xx was also approved for the Trakehner breed. Offspring of his daughters can be founds primarily in the Hanoverian and Bavarian stud books at this time.
The E8 Bustler Mare family has a few respresentatives in the Trakehner breed as well. Among them the excellent S level dressage winner EH Finley M, Champion in Neumünster in 1992, as well as Ocamonte xx, Motely xx, Cristobal (NMS 2008), Proudance xx, and Alantas.
