The sire
Marek x successfully competed at 1.35m show jumping and Preliminary level eventing. He is by the well known Le Tigre x, who was a member of the Fetyzs ox stallion line. This line has had significant impact on the entire Trakehner breed, mostly through the lineage of Famulus - Maharadscha - Flaneur, but also others. Marek x combines equal sgares of Arabian and English TB, and comes from the TB mare family of TB 12 Royal Mare. This line is best known for the TB stallion Eclipse in the 18th century, who is the most prominent of all TB sires, even today represented in a majority of TB pedigrees. Marek's 2nd dam Flawless xx ran as a steeplechaser in Germany, but was orginally bred in France from heavily influenced Irish lines. In the Trakehner breed, the E22A Anjelkla (Poll Hörem) family traces back to the same origin, and is today represented by the ZfdP-approved Aristo (by EH Rockefeller). Other lines that go back to this same background include the Feodora family, and the family of Meraldik (by EH Münchhausen TSF). This includes the most successful eventing sire of the past decade, Heraldik xx.
The dam
Dam Inka AA is a daughter of the outstanding sire Bouquet AA, a son of the best Shagaya ever used in the Trakehner breed, Bajar ShA. This is very dominant line of eventers and show jumpers at international levels and produced excellent sport horses for the Trakehner and Holsteiner stud books. Bouquet AA competed at S level show jumping himself. His maternal half sister Marina is dam of the Trakehner Verband approved international show jumper Bonaparte AA. That stallion's sire Benedict N AA is in turn a son of Bouquet AA. The TB stallion Don Pedro xx had some influence in the Angloarabian breed in Germany, as he is also the sire of the much admired show jumper producer Dorpas AA (also approved for the Trakehner breed). Very close inbreeding is again given here, since Radautz' daughter Marina is the dam of the above mentioned Bonaparte AA and also of the international show jumper Don-Caster x (by Dorpas AA!). Several of Radautz's daughters produced international show jumpers (such as Lohengrin die Villa Emilia or Lau), and the Trakehner-approved Bazar ShA is also out of a Radautz daughter. Overall, this constellation of ShA and TB ancestors in the dam line of Imahn AA has been proven for many years and has produced several excellent show jumpers up to 1.60m.
