Not every great breeder actually owns a big farm with multiple stallions at station. In fact, the biug majority of the Trakehner breeders in Germany, for exmaple, only own one or two mares. Some of them have done incredibly well with only a smaller number of horses. Here, breeding is more education and thought than mass and good luck.
