The sire

EH Monteverdi TSF was the champion in NMS in 1998 and sold to Gestüt Wiesenhof in Krefeld, where he became neighbor to another former champion: EH Münchhausen TSF. Like Münchhausen, Monteverdi passed an outstanding stallion performance test, participated at the Bundeschampionat and the FEI World Championships for young dressage horses, qualified for the Nünrberg Burgpokal and won internationally at Grand Prix dressage. His approved sons include two Bavarian stallions and the Trakehners Oliver Twist (premium, has two sons in Neumünster this year), and Baron Verdi (ATA). Monteverdi's sire EH Partout had a stellar international career with Dutch Anky van Grunsven and then retired to stud duties. He has several approved sons like the FEI stallions Halbgott (now competing in Florids with Marco Bernal), and Maserati (now competing in Belgium) as well as the versatile Goodwood, the dressage stallion Sarasani and others. Equally potent in the Dutch breed, he has several highky accomplished offspring competing in the Netherlands. His daughter Exquis Nadine represented the Netherlands at the 2007 European Dressage Championships in Turino, Italy, winning a Team Gold medal with rider Hand Peter Minderhoud.

The dam

Dam sire EH Sixtus is one of the most popular and stamping sires of our time and put the Habicht line back onto a broad pedestal in the breed. His son Buddenbrock will be proclaimed "Elite" this year, and among his many approved sons with clear talent in jumping, he also sired the FEI dressage stallions Axis and Peron Junior. This dressage talent is matched perfectly here with the second dam sire Silvermoon, a NMS premium stallion in 1993 and recently back in the spotlight through his amazing daughter Matine, silver and bronze medalist at the 2006 WEG in Aachen and clearly a movement-wonder of that event. That she is not a singular event is recored by a number of other Silvermoon offspring at the tops of dressage. The dam line's foundation is the Shagya Arabian mare Aggi by the influential Gazal I.
