Mare family of E1J Ballyvergin Lady xx (v.Rigal-Kriegsheim - Voerde)

The sire

Tambour was approved as a premium stallion in Neumünster and will be awarded the "Elite" title in NMS in 2007. He passed a good performance test and won several young dressage horse classes. He is one of EH Hohenstein's most popular sons in the breed and has a number of excellent daughters out that won champion titles at mare inspections and mare performance tests. He sired the champion Herzensdieb and the 70 day test winner Herzog. Sire EH Hohenstein is a popular dressage producer in the breed, and also has some impact on the Hanoverian breed through several approved sons (High Spritis, Hudson, Harvard, His Highness, Hochadel) and many daughters. Hohenstein successfully competed at FEI dressage and has many approved sons in the Trakehner breed, of which Münchhausen TSF and Insterburg seem to be the most outstanding dressage performers. The dam ES Tänzerin V is a highly ranked daughter of the legendary elite mare Tilsit III, who produced three elite sons: Tenor, Tivano and Tuareg. Tänzerin is also dam of the approved stallions Travell (by Abisko) and Thalys (by EH Hohenstein). The mare line traces back to the family of Tapete from the main stud Trakehnen. Tanzstunde out of Tänzerin, a full sister to Tambour, is presenting stallion candidate 65 Tanzpartner this year.

The dam

Dam Belle Epoque just recently won the State Mare Show in Westfalia. Exceptional dam line tracing back to the Irish TB Ballyvergin Lady xx. Her Insterfeuer son Bukephalos was a CCI** eventer in Germany before he was sold to Canada. His full sister Balzjagd is the third dam of Batist. Balz, the second dam in this pedigree, is a full sister to the FEI dressage stallion Balzflug, who sired the German approved Tabaluga (State Stud Zweibrücken) and was a much admired dressage producer in the Netherlands prior to his untimley death. Balz is also dam of the FEI dressage mare Belle Fleur, and the family further produced the two full sisters and international eventing stars Bunbury TSF and Banteer TSF (both by the Habicht-son Parforce). Batist was the elite foal auction highight at the Hanover Foal Auction in 2005.
