Mare family of T14L2 Corry (Gestüt Hunnesrück)

The sire

Buddenbrock will be named "Elite stallion" in Neumünster in 2007. He was an event horse prior to his breeding career and comes from the ultimate line of event horses: the Habicht line. Buddenbrock offspring have since then appeared at a number of National events, e.g. the Bundeschampionat, in both dressage and eventing. On top of that, he produced several good sons, e.g. the 2000 champion King Arthur TSF, the dressage stallion Connery, the full brothers In Petto and In Flagranti (champion in 2003), Epernay, Ippon or Inamorato (ATA). Buddenbrock's dam, the elite mare Ballerina, is a daughter of the elite mare Blinklicht, whose approved son EH Benz is not only an accomplished Grand Prix dressage stallion, but who also has one of the breed's highest overall conformation and movement index scores (based on his daughters at their inspection). Ballerina also produced the mare Batida, dam of the 2004 crowd favorite Blitz und Donner (by EH Lehndorffs), the premium mare Biskaya (by EH Sixtus), dam of the premium Baracuda (by EH Friedensfürst) and the National Champion mare Bandera (by EH Friedensfürst), who also placed 4th at the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf. Dam sire Diamant stood in Austria and sired several highly recognized dressage horses for the upper levels. His sire Erzsand also had quite an influence on the ATA breed. The big Blinklicht family is known mostly for great, athletic sport horses, and apart from Buddenbrock and Benz, also the younger Bellheim (by Saint Cloud) comes from this line.

The dam

Highly proven mare line with a number of great performance horses and stallions from the first three generations. Dam Caro-Dame II is a maternal half sister of the major sire EH Consul, whose offspring as breeding and riding horses have excelled many times. His influence is also felt in Hanover, where he sired several very good mares (e.g. the dams of the approval champion Don Frederico, or the premioum Don Vino I). Consul established firm performance lines in the warmblood breeds in Germany. Cornau is also dam of the international Grand prix dressage mare Corna, who in turn produced the premium stallion Checkpoint with her very first foal. Another daughter of Cornau is Cornu, dam of the M level show jumper and approved stallion Cornus (who in turn sired the Inter I stallion Ursprung TSF), and the FEI dressage gelding Chapequrouge. The bigger mare family in the background is Trakehnen's original Corrida family, which also stands for Cadeau, Carel Deak, Coleur Fürst, Couracius and the two times Olympic show jumper Almox Prints J.

Craig is a full brother to the 2000 approved stallion Connery, who is a winner under saddle at M level in dressage and sire of several approved sons in the Trakehner and Hanoverian breed.
