The sire
Sire Alaskatraum is presenting his first son in Neumünster. Alaskatraum comes from the same Austrian breeding program of the Asböck family that already produced the international show jumper Schneesturm TSF (also by Abdullah and with Habicht in the background). The combination of Abdullah and Habicht has further resulted in the very good ATA approved Sonset's Sieger. Alaskatraum is an accomplished S level show jumper and now in training for an international career with Irish rider Denis Lynch. His dam Alte Zeit currently has two other sons in competition at M and S levels, both by Abdullah: Allegro and Alessio. The fourth sire Arthus was by Rondo, and thus a paternal half brother to EH Friedensfürst and the ATA's important Graditz *E*.
The dam
Excellent sport horse dam line with several important stallions and performance horses. Originating with the family of the approved Haselhorst, Heldenberg, Hanseat, the top international Grand Prix dressage sire EH Hyllos (sire of e.g. Solero TSF and Lamborghini), and the versatile Herzberg (approved Oldenburg; his dam is third dam Hetra in the above pedigree!) with wins at M level show jumping in Germany and World Cup points in dressage from his career in the US. Dam sire Symbol also sired Heldenberg and a number of good performance horses, predominantly in show jumping. Dam Hexe IX was successfully competed as an eventer in Germany.
