The sire
Sword xx stands at stud in Poland at the National Stud in Racot, one of the country's oldest and most known studs. His pedigree is largely based on influential North American race horse lines with line breeding to Northern Dancer xx and Klairon xx. Very interesting is the fact that Glimmerman's dam Peavehaven xx is a daughter of the important Home Guard xx, a paternal half brother to the aforementioned Thatch xx, sire of Prince Thatch xx. Dam Silver Lady xx also produced the Westfalian bred stallion Sallust (by Power Prince).
The dam
Dam sire Orbis carries an interesting dose of jumper blood through his sire Aspirant and the Olympic show jumper Poprad (both were stationed at Gestüt Liski, and Aspirant later also came to Germany). Orbis is a member of the original Trakehner Handschelle family from the black herd of the main stud, which is most impressively represented by Habicht in the West. Also the second dam sire Kondor is by Aspirant, and out of an Angloarabian dam line. The mare family of Wenus also produced the approved Wenden (State Stud Liski, Poland).
