International Trakehner Stallion Market Neumünster 2013

Join us for a fun, educational and exciting weekend in Germany!

Again in 2013, we are putting together a travel group for international visitors of the Trakehner breeding highlight of the year - the stallion approvals and auctions. In 2013, the event takes place from Oct 17th - 20th. Our group is growing steadily and we expect friends from all over the world to join us once again. So far, we have confirmed trips from Trakehner breeders in the US, Canada, Finland, Australia and South Africa in the mix and are excited to meet and see everybody. The tentative schedule is as usual:

Thursday:

  • 1PM - hard surface performance of all stallion candidates, followed by a first presentation of all auction horses in Hall 5. Travellers in our group different dinner options, including the "official" Verband Breeder's Dinner at Schanze am See. Tickets can be ontained through the Verband office.

Friday:

  • 8AM - Free jumping of all stallions, intermission used to present the auction horses again. In the afternoon, all stallions are presented on the triangle in hand. As in the past years, we are planning a party for our international guests for the evening of that Friday. You may also opt to attend the official Ball in NMS - tickets again available through the Verband.

Saturday:

  • 8AM - At liberty performance of all stallions, with immediate announcement of non approved stallions and those invited back for the afternoon walk ring. 3PM - AUCTION OF MARES AND FOALS. After the auction, those stallion candidates invited back are presented in hand once more for final announcment of approval. 8PM - Gala Show

Sunday:

  • 10AM - Commentary for approved stallions, selection of Champion and Reserve Champion. 1PM - AUCTION OF STALLIONS AND RIDING HORSES. The event concluded around 5PM on Sunday.

 

Our tour package includes help with international air travel (we're not a travel agency, but we can recommend the best way to get to NMS and back!), arrangement of hotels, and tickets to the event. We also help with all the little things inbetween (shutle from Hamburg to NMS and back, transportation in NMS, programs, etc). Contact us for more details.
