The sire

EH Caprimond is one of the stamping sires of the Trakehner breed of the past 15 years and has many approved sons, daughters and sport horses not only in the Trakehner breed, but also in Hanover and Oldenburg, as well some other German waemblood breeds. Caprimond's most influential son is Klosterhof Medingen's EH Hohenstein, like his sire "Stallion of the Year" in Germany and again, sire of many excellent sons and performance horses, predominantly in dressage. Caprimond's sire Karon from the Kassette-family also sired the approved Schampus, Beaujolais II and Gadsby, as well as important daughters (e.g. the dams of Trocadero or Kapriolan F). Caprimond is a major sire of this time and even though over 20 years old now, still shining under saddle at various Grand Prix Freestyles during Germany's stallion show season each year. TOgether with his son Hohenstein, he represented the Trakehners at the Gala for the 2006 WEG in Aachen.

The dam

Emma Peel was one of the best Trakehner driving horses in the 90s with great success at the Bundeschampionat and individual driving competitions at M level. She is a full sister to the highly accomplished FEI dressage stallion Enchantee, whose approved premium son Schönglanz also has a FEI career in dressage. Great line-up of the top stallions Consul, Mahagoni and Impuls on the basis of the mare family of Enrico Caruso *Ps*E*, Epernay, Egmont, Emerson, Excalibur and El Greco.
