The sire
Guter Planet is one of the last sons of the great EH Consul in the breed today, a development that is most troublesome considering the impressive record Consul had as a producer of sport horses for the top levels in the Olympic disciplines. Guter Planet, who was the reserve champion in Neumünster in 1989, stood at the Hörem stud all his life and sired approved sons, excellent daughters and most importantly, sport horses that today compete at international levels in all three disciplines. His dam Guayana produced several highly acclaimed mares (e.g. the National champion Gute Welt) and also the 1988 champion Guter Stern, sire of the ATA's Veneziano and dam sire of the champion Elfengeist. The dam line also stands for Birkhof's Grafenstolz TSF and Gipsy King, among many others, and can be called one of the best out there today.
The dam
Fee XXXI is a maternal half sister to the 1993 NMS champion stallion Fontainbleau! His dam Felicitas V, a mare with strong TB influence, also produced the German performance horses Felix and Ferina, like Fontainbleau by EH Rockefeller, a half brother to this stallion candidate's sire Guter Planet. Mixed in this very interesting pedigree is the successful Buddenbrock, who brings more "blood" through his line breeding to Burnus AAH. Fontainbleau sired the approvede El Greco (who is presenting a son in NMS this year), and the premium Albarrano. Like Fontainbleau, El Greco has a career at *** eventing, and Fontainbleau certainly underlined his prepotency for that sport by siring the Bundeschampion Kunta Kinte TSF and his full sister and reserve Bundeschampion Karana M. The original foundation mare of the dam line of Feenlust xx, also produced the Trakehner elite stallion Friedensfürst.
