Mare family of E16I Favoritin xx (Wenzel-Hückeswagen)

The sire

Sire EH Michelangelo has been the breed's most successful mare producer for the past 5 years (based on inspection scores of his daughters). After his approval, he was sold to the Netherlands and was a bit forgotten in Germany until 1990 and his outstanding son Kennedy, who became champion of that approval. EH Michelangelo's most successful offspring in the competition world at this point is the Danish gelding Just Mickey. With his Swedish rider, he won Team silver at the 2005 European Dressage Championships in Hagen/Germany, and also participated at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. His list of approved sons is long and contains such names as Kennedy, Summertime, Hirtenruf, Hölderlin, Michellino (DK), or the Oldenburg premium Mon Dieu. The dam ES Miami also produced the approved Miami Vice (by Iglesias) and the international Grand Prix winner and approval champion Monteverdi TSF (by EH Partout). The mare line of Mira also produced the accomplished sires Morgenglanz and Marco Polo. EH Michelangelo's sire Pasteur xx also sired the major dressage producer Mahagoni. The latest addition to Michelangelo's long list of successful offspring is the former NMS stallion candidate Dibelius (NMS2005), who won the Young Event Horse Championships at Lamplight Equestrian Center in Chicago in the 4yr old division under Darren Chiacchia in September of 2007.

The dam

Interesting mare family that is based on the TB Favoritin xx by Altrek xx. Altrek xx is also the second dam sire of the highly accomplished Grand Prix stallion EH Friedensfürst. Dam Fleur Belle is a daughter of the 1983 NMS champion Holunder, the only champion from an Arabian stallion line after WWII. His sire Polargeist can be found in a number of performance pedigrees, while Holunder's dam was one of Gestüt Webelsgrund's most famous brood mares and produced, among other, the dam of the international show jumper Humanus, and the WEG Silver medalist EH Heuriger. This small, but valuable mare family is also represented in the US by former TI Sales Horse Fleur Rouge by Waitaki, who won her class at Devon in 2005 and is a brood mare and competition horse for Celebration Farm. Fleur Rouge was also the ATA's Champion Breed Show mare in 2006. Family of Fidalgo xx and Flucato xx ( Westfalian State Stud) and the approved Trakehner Favigno.
