Mare family of O177A Gundel (Schlemminger-Grabau)

The sire

Hofrat was the reserve champion in Neumünster in 2000. His full brother Hoftänzer followed only a year later in the same position. Both stallions have successful dressage careers, both at FEI levels in Germany. His sire EH Gribaldi was one of the breed's best dressage horses in the international circuits and produced a number of approved stallions, also in the KWPN breed. He is a maternal half brother to the FEI dressage stallion Goldino (by Patricius xx). Hofrat sired the 2005 Hanoverian Champion stallion Hotline, who sold at auction for a record high of 800,000 Euro. Dam sire Guter Planet is one of the breed's most proven and versatile sport horse sires and the third sire Effekt was a son of the great Habicht. Hofrat also has the stallion candidates 40 Karl Lagerfeld and 42 Patent in this year's collection.

The dam

Dam sire Kanudos xx was stationed in Germany and approved in Oldenburg, Holstein, and the Trakehner books. He sold to Denmark not long ago, and is a TB sire of great beauty and incredible movement, which made him popular in the warmblood breeds in Germany. He carries classic German TB lines and comes from the famous family of Kaiserwürde, which also produced the excellent sires Kaiseradler xx, Kronprinz xx, Kreuzritter xx, King Milford xx, Kronzeuge xx and Kaiserstuhl xx, to name a few. His sire Acatenango xx had a number of stallions approved in the Trakehner breed, like Conception xx and Wörthersee xx. The latter is sire of the 2004 National Champion 3yr old mare Papagena Go. Second dam sire Testarossa was a high quality son of Pasteur xx - Hartung, who was originally not selected for the approvals, but sent through the 100 day test, which he won with over 145 points. He was then approved, and soon after left Germany for Sweden. He returned to Germany in 2002, but soon after passed away. The dam line of Gundel also produced the approved Godot, Goldschmidt, EH Gribaldi and Goldino.
