Mare family of T14O1 Herbstlicht (Gestüt Schmoel/Panker)

The sire

Cadeau was approved in 2001 as the second reserve champion and had an outstanding first breeding season. He won the rideability index of his 70 day test (over 138 points) and finished 4th overall. His seasons as a 4 and 5 year old were marked my several wins at material level, as well as 1st and 2nd level. Cadeau won the Trakehner Championship in Bonn, and would have qualified for the Bundeschampionat if his Danish passport had not cut those ambitions short. Cadeau is a Trakehner Verband elite prospect, even though sadly, he no longer performs due to the high demand in the breeding shed. His sire Silvermoon recently came back into the spotlight with the international Grand Prix shooting star Matine, his Danish bred daughter who won individual bronze and silver at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany, 2006. He is a maternal half sibling to the approved Schampus. Cadeau is a member of the Corry family that originates with one of Trakehnen's best mares, Corrida. This family also produced, among others, EH Consul, Connery, Couleur-Fürst, Carel Deak, Almox Prints J, Cornus, Checkpoint and Chardonnay.

The dam

Dam sire Humanus was an international show jumper for Italy and the first approved son of Maizauber in Germany. His dam Heublume is a maternal half sister to the international Granx Prix winner Heuriger (Team Silver at the WEG in 1994 and "Dressage Stallion of the Year" in Europe, in front of Donnerhall!), the champion Holunder and the approved Husar. The second dam Herbstjagd III is an excellent producer of good performance horses in Germany. Six of her offspring are performance horses, with wins and placings at M level in dressage and show jumping, including the 2005 Show Jumper Champion from the International Bundesturnier in Hanover, Hindenburg (by Schneesturm TSF). This branch of the big Herbstzeit family from Trakehnen also produced the approved Herbstglanz, Kongo, Hermes, and Downland's Hasadeur (UK).
