The sire

Cadeau was approved in 2001 as the second reserve champion and had an outstanding first breeding season. He won the rideability index of his 70 day test (over 138 points) and finished 4th overall. His seasons as a 4 and 5 year old were marked my several wins at material level, as well as 1st and 2nd level. Cadeau won the Trakehner Championship in Bonn, and would have qualified for the Bundeschampionat if his Danish passport had not cut those ambitions short. Cadeau is a Trakehner Verband elite prospect, even though sadly, he no longer performs due to the high demand in the breeding shed. His sire Silvermoon recently came back into the spotlight with the international Grand Prix shooting star Matine, his Danish bred daughter who won individual bronze and silver at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany, 2006. He is a maternal half sibling to the approved Schampus. Cadeau is a member of the Corry family that originates with one of Trakehnen's best mares, Corrida. This family also produced, among others, EH Consul, Connery, Couleur-Fürst, Carel Deak, Almox Prints J, Cornus, Checkpoint and Chardonnay.

The dam

Dam sire Herzzauber was champion in Neumünster in 1990 and first stationed at Klosterhof Medingen. He later sold to Meadowview Farm in Canada, but due to the success of his offsrping in Europe, weas awarded the elite title by the Verband. Herzzauber has several approved sons in Europe and North America. Dam Mariza is a very close relative tot he exceptional producer Melodie XIII, who counts the FEI dressage and M level show jumper Magall (by Guter Planet) and the CIC** eventer Mayenne (by Suchard) among her offspring. The third dam sire Mandant was a highly respected jumper producer in the Hessia breed where he stood at stud at the State Stud in Dillenburg. Dam line of the Hanoverian stallion Einblick and the NRPS approved Don Matcho.
