Mare family of T7B Kokette (Hauptgestüt Trakehnen)

The sire

Prince Thatch xx was 100 day tested with other warmblood stallins at Adelheitsdorf in 1989 and stunned everyone with a super overall index of 126.68 (above average in both show jumping and dressage), finishing 3rd out of 28 stallions. He was a Hanoverian State Stud stallion in Celle after that and had significant influence in Hanover and the international dressage circuits. His son Piccolino/K. Husenbeth is a top dressage horse in Germany and won Team Gold at World Championships and Olympics. Prince Thatch's influence in the Trakehner breed is marginal at best, a very big loss considering that this exceptional TB stallion no longer lives. He sired the best Anglo Trakehner mare at the central mare inspections in East Germany in 2007. Keep Cool is the first colt by Prince Thatch xx ever presented at the Trakehner approval in Neumünster.

The dam

Königstreue comes from a successful branch of the Kokette family tracing straight back to Trakehnen. The mare has three FN registered sport horses in competition in Germany, as does her dam Köonigstreue, who happens to be a full sister to the top show jumping mare Kadenz. Dam sire Timber was an excellent show jumper and is also dam sire of e.g. the jumper Titulus, whose second dam sire also happens to be Caanitz! Timber's sire Marlon was a full brother to the important Mahagoni, while Caanitz was a successful show jumper who sadly died very young. His sire Aron is a maternal half brother to the stallions EH Argument, Argonaut and Arsenal, all out of the excellent mare Arwetta by Habicht. A successful combination of very interesting and rare jumper genes on the basis of the family that produced the impeccable Komet! Königstreue's daughter Kavalkade VI is presenting 58 Kerrinnes in NMS this year.
