The sire
Sire Hockey is one of the most accomplished sport horse sires of the Trakehner breed - ever! Over 40 of his offspring competed internationally, in dressage and show jumping alike. That includes stallions like the breed's exceptional show jumper Almox Prints J, who competed at two Olympic Games under two different riders and has proven that he also sires horses of this magnitude. Hockey's son Oskar II competed at Grand Prix and is now stationed in the US, and Hockey's grand son Biotop was one of Europe's most successful dressage horses. The list can be extended indefinitely. Hockey was a half Arabian, whose sire Pomeranets ox had significant influence on the Trakehner breed in Russia and whose blood can be found in a number of top competitors. A fact that is just as true of Priboj ox.
The dam
Lugowen is dam of the premium stallion Lowelas, a full brother to Laudatio who is presenting his first crop in Neumünster this year. Dam sire Inster Graditz was a young eventing superstar in Germany and only due to an injury switched disciplines to dressage, easily adepting there as well. He died suddenly and way too early as a 12 year old, leaving the breed witzh outstanding daughters and especially good sport horses. his approved son Sir Graditz, best jumper of his approval in NMS, today stands at stud in Great Britain and quietly has managed to reach the very top of British show jumping, winning over 200,000 Pounds in his short career so far! Second dam Liesken comes from Poland's Liski Stud and is a daughter of the valuable TB stallion Mangan xx, who can be found in several sport horse predigrees in the East.
Laudatio is a full brother to the 2003 approved premium stallion Lowelas.
