The sire
In Flagranti was the champion in NMS in 2003 and is sending his first son for approval this year. In Flagranti is a full sibling to the three champion mares In Zukunft (dressage 3rd level, also successful in eventing and driving), In Farbe and in Vita (Bundeschampionat 2007) as well as the approved In Petto (S dressage). A truly outstanding family that the bay Kennedy-daughter Insterfee was able to establish. In Flagranti qualified for the Bundeschampionatg in 2006 and 2007 and managed to place in the finals of the 5 and 6yr old groups in both years. His dam line also stands for the Trakehner major sire Impuls, and the international Grand Prix stallion Inspekteur, as well as the State Stud stallion Inkognito and the ATA's Ichi-Ban.
The dam
Dam sire Couleur-Fürst was an upper level show jumper during his active years and was Sir Shostakovich's first of many excellent show jumper sons in the breed (others include e.g. Donaumonarch and Chateauneuf). Couleur-Fürst's dam Couleur was a very famous Trakehner model mare by the Ibikus-son Kassiber (a stallion who later won the Australian advanced level eventing champions!). Couleur had very good daughters in the breed, among them the dam of the 2004 res champion Couracious. The second dam Rhapsodie V produced several performance horses. Her sire Kopernikus was known as a very good jumper producer and can also be found e.g. in the background of the pedigree of Titulus. The mare family of Rieta also stands for outstanding show jumper mare Romanze XIII (by Ergo) and the FEI dressage stallion Rubin (by Flaneur), the foundation sire of the Majoran - Preussenprinz line and sire of teh ATA's Rubinesque *Ps*.
