The sire

Goldschmidt is the only approved son of the international Grand Prix dressage stallion Biotop in the Trakehner breed and has had a good career as a dressage horse himself. He was approved at the spring approvals in 2003, passed an excellent stallion performance test with very high socres in dressage, won at the Bundesturnier in Cologe and qualified for the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf. His sire Biotop was the late Dr. R. Klimke's last international performance horse and won World Cup freestyles and many top shows, accumulating some 250,000€ in winnings! Dam Goldstück is a daughter of Hohenstein, and her dam Goldsaar was by the accomplished TB Saros xx, a maternal half brother to the Trakehner breed's successful Swazi xx (e.g. sire of Grand Prix and EH Consul). The dam line of Gundel also produced Godot and the FEI dressage stallions Goldino and EH Gribaldi.

The dam

Dam Hawaii G is also dam of the mare Hot Chocolate, who is presenting no. 60 Hachez in this year's collection. Second dam High Class was an elite auction mare in Neumünster herself. And the third dam Harma is a full sister to the dam of EH Hohenstein. Out of very close maternal relation come also the stallions Horizon (ATA), Harlem Go, Hamlet Go, Hohenstein II (Hungary) and a number of excellent performance horses in all three disciplines. Same family as stallion candidates 1 Helanris, 8 Halimey Go and 60 Hachez.
