Mare family of A5A3 Luna IV (Willems-Emmerich)

The sire

Goldschmidt is the only approved son of the international Grand Prix dressage stallion Biotop in the Trakehner breed and has had a good career as a dressage horse himself. He was approved at the spring approvals in 2003, passed an excellent stallion performance test with very high socres in dressage, won at the Bundesturnier in Cologe and qualified for the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf. His sire Biotop was the late Dr. R. Klimke's last international performance horse and won World Cup freestyles and many top shows, accumulating some 250,000€ in winnings! Dam Goldstück is a daughter of Hohenstein, and her dam Goldsaar was by the accomplished TB Saros xx, a maternal half brother to the Trakehner breed's successful Swazi xx (e.g. sire of Grand Prix and EH Consul). The dam line of Gundel also produced Godot and the FEI dressage stallions Goldino and EH Gribaldi.

The dam

Dam Lousie is yet another highly decorated daughter of the outstanding mare Louisiana V. Louisiana is also dam of the National Champion mare Lantana V (by Tycoon), who was a record breaking 2yr old filly at the auction in Neumünster (110,000DM), and has so far presented 3 sons in Neumünster, with No. 4 following this year. She is the dam of the 2004 champion stallion Le Rouge, and is presenting 36 Le Bai this year. Furthermore, Louisiana is also dam of the dressage mare Lady Lou (by EH Tenor). The Luna VI family is a branch of the Amsel AA family in the Trakehner breed that was founded by the mare Amsel, a full sister to the impeccable Burnus AAH. This is also the line of the elite stallion Louidor as well as the two times Olympic eventer Larissa *Pg*.
